Master butcher Hans Trüter founded the family business in Osterode as early as 1603. Since then, the business has been passed down from generation to generation and lovingly managed.
Later, the family moved to Hattorf and expanded to include an inn. In 1999, the hotel was added on.
Our butcher's store was closed in 2009 for reasons of age.
For some time, our senior boss, master butcher Wilhelm Trüter, still produced sausage products for our needs .
We now source many of our products from butchers in the region.
Now the business is run with heart and soul by Andreas Franz as head chef and his wife Daniela Trüter-Franz.
